Training Season
There are three underground training Camps within the year, with a two to three week off season in-between each Camp. We coordinate our training and set our goals within the season. We use a periodization method, changing each training segment each month.
Each Athlete is tracked with our HMS (heart rate monitoring system). Our HMS, is based off Squad heart rate technology. Each athlete will have there performance metrics tracked and give them a training score.
Below you can see this athlete achieved a high performing score of 193 points with an average heart rate of 158 beats per minute, active time of 58 minutes. These metrics help our athletes to track data and are able to judge there output. Standard times for a full mma practice is the athlete gaining 100 points. for more info visit https://squadheartrate.com/

End of Camp
The Underground Team Trials serve as a proving ground for both Prospects and Advanced Athletes. During these trials, athletes will participate in MMA fights held within the gym, while our Ranked Fighters defend their roster spots.
This event is primarily for Prospects and Advanced Athletes. To advance from Prospect to Advanced Athlete, participants must compete in the team trials, regardless of the outcome; both wins and losses will allow them to progress. However, failure to attend the team trials will result in ineligibility for the next training camp, necessitating a return to tryouts.
Advanced Athletes are encouraged to join the team trials if they aspire to become fighters. By winning at least one out of two tryout fights or smokers, then participating in the team trials, they can earn the status of Amateur or Smoker Fighter.
Fights consist of three rounds, each lasting three minutes. Participants must wear full-face headgear, shin guards, and sparring MMA gloves, which will be provided.
All Ranked Fighters are required to attend and will face Prospects and Advanced Athletes in matchups that are not predetermined.
